In what ways are Holden hypocritical in the Catcher In The Rye?

Well, he calls people phonies all the time....and you could say that he was something of a phony himself. He sometimes plays games with people, like the woman on the subway. Another problem is that he totally obsessed with being real and authentic, but never gives us a clear idea as to what that entails. Thus, he never directly observes his own phoniness.
