What to get for my 93 year old "Oma" grandma for those who dont know what Oma is?
My Oma is 93 years old and lives with my mom. My mom is her caretaker since she doesnt have healthcare. She sits in her room everyday and reads or plays puzzle games. My wife and I have brainstormed and can't come up with any good gifts. I have given her little figurines, a new blanket, nice pictures of me and or her together, new books (which she doesnt like b/c she doesnt understand the modern slang), puzzle books, sweets and german foods. We seemingly have run out of good things to get her. She has lived through WW2 and seen many terrible things from war. She was seperated from my mother and her mother during the war and fought to get her way back to the west zone before the wall went up. My mom's father was a German soldier who was killed in Russia (no he was not a Nazi, he was conscripted and if anyone here makes any Nazi comments I will hunt you down and kick your F'n *** you ignorant F'ers) anyways.. just thought I'd make that clear... ok.. seriously for the nice ppl who will answer this question please help :)
