Is t-butyl alcohol soluble in water? when the 2 are mixed together, what does the solution look like?

tert-butyl alcohol is soluble to a certain extent in water, but as with ethanol for example, we'd rather say the two are miscible. That is, a mixture of two would form a solution which distorts light as it pes through. The two compounds kind of make "regions" in the mixture that let light p differently, and so you have the same effect as when you look above a fire.
