If nothing works, and all 4-5 or more nuclear reactors in Japan meltdown or explode: how bad is that?

I mean how bad is that for the world as far as nuclear fallout goes? how will it affect plant life in the Pacific Ocean? Since Japan will no longer exist, who will be responsible for cleaning up this mess? when is the next time you will eat sushi? Where is Godzilla when you need him?
