Do i still have a chance with this female friend?

So i got this female friend of mine who things turned out fine for a few months, we talked on the phone, hung out, and talked online. We've had our bad times together which was nothing more than arguing w/each other, but the last time i hung out with her was after i was drinking with some guy friends of mine and so i was driving her while somewhat drunk and she hated the way i was driving and the way i was acting to her (i guess i was scaring her and pushing her away)...after that she started to question our friendship and said she is not sure that we should continue being friends anymore. I tried to convice her with many myspace messages that she should reconsider us ending our friendship and i surprised even myself at how well i worded some of my messages to her. She eventually responded with her not being sure and that she wanted me to give her more time to think about it (which i am). Her general attitude seems to be that she doesn't want to end our friendship b/c she said she didn't want to, although she didn't feel like our frienship was going any further. She said after that she either needed a little more time or her mind was made up and now saying she needs more time to think about it. Judging by her reactions/responses, do i still stand a good chance with her? she is a great girl so i would want anything but to lose her
