Who else thinks Idol Gives Back was much better last year?

I was surprised I haven't seen any comments about that on here yet. I really thought that last years show was so much better than this year's. Last year really seemed much more genuine and uplifting to inspire people to give. Miley Cyrus was horrible, and though I love Fergie, her and the whole Heart thing just didn't seem to suit the goal of the show. Last year it was live while this year it was taped beforehand and I felt that it took something away from the show also. What do you all think?
